Friend Codes=Bad

If Nintendo really wants the Wii to be for everyone, why make Friend Codes? It is just stupid that I have to write down a long-ass number from a friend, enter it in, PLUS I can't get him on my list till he puts the damn code in his own system. I want something easy, so when I play games, I don't need a new number for each game. It is too much of a hassle. I have looked around and found an online petition:

If we get enough signatures on it, and some big sites like IGN discover us, we might be able to get this to the attention of Nintendo of America who might realize it is a stupid idea to have these codes. I mean, there aren't Parental Controls for nothing. So do something about these codes.
